our story

seasonal *family portrait

RAW. FESTIVE. TOGETHER.

This is not a traditional Christmas mini session.

It’s a short sitting, on film, made for families, artists and makers who want something real.

Before you step in front of the camera, we’ll invite you to join our festive workshop table. Together we’ll create DIY winter decorations and then we’ll use them within your family frame. Think of it as a small making session, followed by your RAW, seasonal *family portrait, where your decorations becoming part of the image.

No theme. No costumes. Just a traditional *family portrait with a handmade twist, the kind that could sit on a mantelpiece for years and still feel like you.

When we say /family portrait/, we really mean: whoever feels like home to you. It can be two people or ten, loud toddlers and sleepy teenagers, a grandparent, a best friend, your plants, the person you create with, the neighbour who became kin.

Come as you are. We’ll do the rest.

Close-up of a person's eye, with a quote overlayed that says 'We come from elsewhere. But photography helped us feel at home.'

A hundred years ago, families would gather - often dressed in their Sunday best, and stand still for one photograph. No endless clicking, no fake smiles. Just one frame to mark their time together.

We're bringing that tradition back.
